FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
See Line Gallery presents "Fever", An online solo exhibition by Anna Fidler, including mixed media works on paper.
Anna Fidler’s work is both monumental and fragile, just like the nature of her enterprise: hugh sheets of paper upon
which she constructs surfaces. Formally her work addresses color, texture and a kind-of topography explored in both
two and three dimensions
"Fever" depicts imagery that reflects the artist interest in energy and it’s flow between plant life, the galaxy and human kind.
Anna Fidler’s interest lies within transformative aspects of earthy life influenced conceptually by geographical location.
Places such as Topanga Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns and the abandoned mica mines of Ojo Caliente, New Mexico.
Anna Fidler received her MFA from Portland State University in 2005 and has exhibited in Tokyo, Japan and across the
United States. Her work was included in the Oregon Biennial at the Portland Art Museum, Pacifc NW Annual at the
